Politics: the biggest surprise so far is the the Des Moine Register endorsed John Edwards. They might as well have endorsed Lyndon LaRoche for all the difference it will make. I still expect Dean to win, and to take NH handily.

Also, its clear that Wesley Clark has become the Stop Dean candidate. How pathetic. If he were a Republican, the media would have eaten him up for his inconsistencies. He will fail to stop down-a-stack Dean.

By the way, when Al Sharpton asked Dean why there were zero minorities on his VT gubernatorial cabinet, why didn't he just answer, "Are you aware of the demographics of Vermont?" But that would have meant saying, "Look my experience with minorities is zilch." Have to hand it to Not So Sharp: he gave Howard the Duck a no-win question.
